Hey everyone, just curious what your cell phone journey has looked like over the years? Here's mine:
1st: Samsung SCH-A310
It could hold about 25 texts and you could change the screen color to red, green, or blue. It had Brickbreaker and Snake as games.
2nd: LG Chocolate
3rd: LG Chocolate 2
(Sidenote: Anyone remember the LG Shine? I really wanted this one after the Chocolates.)
4th: Blackberry Storm 2
I called this my Crackberry after it got a cracked screen.
5th: Samsung Galaxy Nexus
6th: LG Nexus 5 (x2), bootlooped
7th: LG Nexus 5X (x2), bootlooped
8th: Google Pixel, bootlooped in first year
(Really enjoyed these previous three phone models, but I'm honestly surprised I stuck with Android after so many phones lost to a dumb issue. I'm glad I did though)
9th: Google Pixel 3
10th and current: Google Pixel 6
Future: Unsure, maybe Pixel 10 although I've been digging the Nothing phones
With how good most phones are these days, I've been upgrading every 3-4 years instead of the formerly traditional 2 years. Android is badass now and though it hurts me to admit it as an Android fanboy, Apple too. I love that phone batteries are getting better, phone operating systems are better at maintaining the battery in the 20-80% range, and Google and Samsung are offering up to 7 years of OS updates. Many manufacturers are also now directly selling parts to consumers to repair their own devices. Anything to improve the longevity of our devices is awesome.

First: Samsung SGH-S40
Second: LG Rumor 2
Third: Motorola Razr M
Fourth: Motorola Droid Turbo 2
Fifth: Samsung Galaxy J6 (was on a budget)
Sixth: Samsung Galaxy S20
And finally seventh?iPhone 13?I made the switch ?
Would I go back? If I had to. But not because I?m against anything that isn?t iPhone.
