Black Desert Online
That was the cringiest two hours of my life. the rendering's clunky af, some npcs have lip movement when they talk, others don't, you have to chat with like 5 different npcs just to get a quest going, and then this small shitty ghost to confirm the quest start, and then again to complete it. There's just so much manual stuff that could happen automatically as you play. the games really pretty, that's about all I can say good about it. i'm getting my $1.29 back haha...

Great game. have played for years and to be honest is one of my favourite games and now I’d just like to say I’m rambling to get to 50 words, the following is my review Needs better cruci skill based matchmaking Needs more active Clan Admins (from a byte1ife perspective) Currently dead(ish) till final shape, then we’ll see. :) ..

Cuphead
You ever want to smash your keyboard or controller in pure rage over a game that looks like a 1970s cartoon? Well I have the game just for you! Cuphead is a 2-D challenging platformer where most of your encounters are "boss" battles. The short story of losing your souls to the devil over some gambling bets, turns into bounty hunting other souls. All coated in this beautiful old cartoon asethetic. The music and art carry this game in a lot of ways. However, it is still extremely mechanical and the game does feel good to play. It has..

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
I don't have many 10 out of 10 games. I have a handful that I would put in the range of 9-9.9 but very few would I put at a true 10. This is one of those games. This game revolutionized the meaning of your actions impact the game. Not only are there two very unique and different endings, there are tons of different interactions. You can go the whole game without even unlocking all of the playable characters. As a matter of a fact, you can kill characters you have the ability to unlock and play as. Each "main" character's back story..

Terraria
I remember them claiming this was a "2-D Minecraft". The only thing this game really shares with Minecraft is blocks. I would say that is a good thing as well. Where the game is at now is incredible. Charm, fun, and aesthetics are all characteristics that this game knocks out of the park. There is a clear progression with the game with challenging boss battles and enjoyable spelunking. I haven't felt like the boss battles are unfair, even after several attempts on a few of them and having to grind out better gear. This game can be..

Stray
The fact that a game with a playable cat isn't selling you already, let me explain a few things. Your cat doesn't ever speak, he gets spoken to. If you're a pet owner, you know that we always give our pets certain character traits, whether they have them or not. We make up this fantasy about them. Give them silly backstories. Joke around. Speak to them as if they can understand. This game captures that magic. Everybody that you interact with treats the cat different, but, treats them as if they are part of their own story. Go do this little..

Starfield
Being a huge Elder Scrolls and Fallout fan, I had been greatly looking forward to this game. After spending some time playing, I am not really impressed. It is just boring. The universe is massive but feels empty. As far as gameplay, if you are familiar with Bethesda you will already know how it is. There is plenty to do and explore, however, it is very redundant. The graphics are good and everything, but I just can't get into it. The story is just so boring, it didn't pull me in at all...

Starfield
You can tell Bethesda has put quite a lot of work into the Creation Engine (everyone's favorite horse to beat). Textures are far more detailed for today's generation of gaming, facial animations look much more detailed, draw distance has improved, and the variety in atmospheric lighting conditions looks great. ''Image'' I also have to specifically point out that Bethesda killed it on the weaponry, and even the reload animations. To me they looked better than some of today's leading FPS games, which is awesome and unexpected. The gunplay..

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
I can’t believe it’s almost been four years since the release of this game. I haven’t been on this site in a while but I wanted to leave a review for this game because I loved it. When compared to the other “Next Gen†Call of Dutys (MW 2019, Cold War, Vanguard, and MWII 2022) I think MW 2019 was the best overall. Although I admit I haven’t played it in a while. I play a lot of Ground War and MW 2019 had some classic maps that I think should be remembered. The maps that come to mind are Promenade,..

DiRT
This is one of the few games I have 100%'d, at least achievement-wise. It had a really cool aesthetic that I still really dig and don't think too many games have managed to capture even today. Everything had a certain glow filter put on and it managed to capture my attention right away. Even the main menu design was great. The whole game had a consistent vibe. This was a bit different than any other racing games I had been playing at the time, like Project Gotham Racing for example, as DiRT has a big emphasis on off-roading, although it does..

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
What can be said about this game? Graphically it is amazing, I play on the Series X and it is just simply beautiful. The environments and planets you will travel to will really blow you away. The story, which takes place 5 years after the first title, is amazing. It really explores a neat period in the timeline and also broadens the overall Star Wars universe (no spoilers). Combat is as hard or as simple as you would like. If you aren't interested in challenging combat you can set your difficulty to "Story" mode. If you want a..

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
This game was simply amazing. What really drew me in was the fact that it is canon. This title takes place 5 years after Episode III (and Order 66). As a survivor of the great Jedi Purge, you are forced into hiding. Right from the jump this game pulls you in. The graphics are amazing, the soundtrack is great, and the characters are very well done. Combat can be VERY challenging, however, I only played on story mode since that's all I was interested in. If you DO want a real challenge (think Dark Souls) this game can be that for you if you bump..

Albion Online
I will say right off the bat that for being free, this is one of the better MMORPGs. The visuals look great with a soft and colorful appearance, the sound effects are addictive, and the gameplay is smooth. A paid subscription will eliminate quite a bit of grind, but it's still possible to play for free. Most of my account progress was done on a free account, but I did at one point buy a month just to see what it was like. Basically, it boils down to more XP and Gold for you much more quickly. That one month was enough to boost my progression..

GRID Legends
I've played all of the GRID games, so I was excited to see a new entry in the series. Overall this game is good, but not great. ''Image' 'You'll notice some locations familiar to the GRID series, like Chicago in this screenshot.'' For gameplay, the driving feels pretty smooth overall and there seems to be less of a tendency to spin out compared to older GRID games. Other racers will occasionally make mistakes and hit a barrier or spin out, which can in turn cause bigger wrecks or pile-ups. This is in line with older titles in the..

Star Wars Battlefront
Another game that Dice did good, not perfect , but playable and most of the time, enjoyable! I like it so far, the graphics are great on the Xbox Series X, I am working on the campaign at the moment and it is fun so far! There are some very cool maps, all the weapons are fun to use, sometimes you’ll get some powers that can annihilate so many enemies, you just got to learn when is the right moment to use! Get your butt kicked and kick butt with this game, and most importantly have fun! ..

Destiny 2: Lightfall
After the Witch Queen expansion I was feeling pretty confident that this would be another knockout expansion, especially with all of the marketing dollars Bungie pumped into it! Sadly, I was mistaken. I have terrible luck with choosing which games to preorder, so of course I preordered this one. ''Image'' Most of the campaign is centered around Neptune in a city called Neomuna. What's odd is that you'll see holograms of its citizens throughout, but you can't interact with any of them. This is because they have all uploaded themselves to..

Deathloop
DEATHLOOP, a game like no other. It certainly had a lot to offer, but could it have offered more? From my perspective, yes. Deathloop was great, don't get me wrong, but i feel it focused too much on the pvp encounters to make the game more engaging and drawn out, and thus left the (quite literally) amazing and intriguing world feel lacking or shallow. Although there was a story progression along with side quests and (exotic?) weapon unlock quests, the overall game was short lived. This game would've been game of the year (in my..

Cozy Grove
Welcome to Cozy Grove, a life-sim game about camping on a haunted, ever-changing island. As a Spirit Scout, you'll wander the island's forest each day, finding new hidden secrets and helping soothe the local ghosts. With a little time and a lot of crafting, you'll bring color and joy back to Cozy Grove! I love this game, I've been playing it for a month now and I can tell is Animal Crossing Chilled Version. Cozy Grove succeeds on all notes, especially on the Nintendo Switch. Having this game on Pc and Nintendo Switch, the latter is the..
