In this expansion you will fight against The Witness, who is the overarching enemy of the Light vs Dark saga that began with Destiny 1 (2014) and ended with this Final Shape expansion (2024).

After mastering the power of darkness, the first civilization known to be uplifted by the Traveler merged into one being to form The Witness. Afterwards, it spent eons chasing the Traveler to impose its own vision of the "Final Shape," or final form of the universe. You as a Guardian must stop it!
